Designing enhancements to UnitedHealthcare's mobile app so members always have 24/7 access to their health insurance—finding physicians, checking claims, managing prescriptions, and estimating care costs.
Overview
The UnitedHealthcare Health4Me application is designed for people to always have access to their health insurance 24/7. The Health4Me application is designed to help customers find answers for their health insurance—whether they want to find physicians or pharmacies near them, check a status of a claim, manage their prescriptions, or estimate the cost of their health care.
My Contribution
I worked on this project collaboratively with a UX designer and under the direction of an Art Director to help facilitate new enhancements to the application. The design closely adheres to the UnitedHealthcare brand style guide.
Impact
Health4Me was featured on the 2014–2015 Consumer Technology Association and continues to provide all consumers and millions of UnitedHealthcare plan participants with easier and more convenient access to information about their health care system.
